For baseball lovers, January 1st is not the real new year’s day. MLB teams start training camp, and college baseball season starts in February, so February is the real new year for baseball lovers. The Gators won the national championship in 2017 and were ranked the No. 1 team in the preseason this year. It can be expected that the Gators baseball team will do well this season. From this season, the strongest supporter joined the Gators. It is a brand new stadium. I went to the stadium! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get into the stadium because of COVID. Even though I was only looking into the stadium, it was so exciting. Everything in the stadium: beautiful grass, a pure white base, the scoreboard, even the music, attracted me! Before I knew it, I had been standing for two and a half hours by the stadium. Since then, I have been excited to watch a game in the stadium! Even If you don’t like baseball so much, you can go there, and eat food, have a drink, enjoy the atmosphere! Let’s go to the new stadium!

Manners and Culture

Q:  My American friend told me to wear green on Wednesday. Why?

A: Wednesday, March 17, is St. Patrick’s Day. St. Patrick is a patron saint of Ireland. In the history of the US, a lot of Irish people immigrated to America, and they brought many traditions with them. Then these celebrations changed to reflect the American-Irish life. Today, St. Patrick’s Day is marked in the US by wearing green clothes and possibly drinking green-colored drinks.
