Out and About: Goodbye!

Time flies like an arrow. Just a few weeks ago, it was hot enough to swim, but fall has come in Florida. This means that a lot of time has passed. How was your experience in the United States? Each person is full of different experiences, memories, and impressions.

This picture was taken a month ago when I went to Walt Disney World. The fireworks I saw then gave me a wonderful feeling and I recalled the past time in America during the fireworks. I felt that I was really happy here.

I am sad to know that if I return to Korea, it would be difficult to come back to the United States. Everything that happened in the United States, such as campus tours, parade, Weekly activities, Clearwater, Disney World and American scenery, are all precious memories to me. There is only one week left until the end of ELI classes. I decided to enjoy until the last moment. Everyone has different memories, but I hope everyone will finish the ELI happily for the rest of the time. I wish that they could make a day to share those delightful memories with each other.

Returning Students: If you are returning to the ELI for the Spring 2022 semester, remember to check in online between January 3rd and January 7th.

Check your UF email: Please check your UF email for important messages before the end of the semester. Remember, if you are not returning to UF in January, you will lose access to your UF email and gatorlink at the end of the semester.

COVID Vaccination Requirement for Entry in the United States

A new CDC Order means that, in addition to showing a negative COVID-19 test, all non-immigrant, non-citizen air travelers to the United States must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Travelers must provide proof of vaccination to get on an airplane to the United States. The vaccine must be FDA or WHO approved. The Order includes students on F-1 visas. All students will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the U.S. If you are leaving the United States during the winter break, you must bring your proof of vaccination with you.  If you have not been vaccinated yet, we recommend you complete the vaccines before leaving the U.S. If you need help scheduling a vaccine or have questions about the new Order, you should talk to Victoria right away.
