Last Saturday was the first day of football this semester. Unfortunately, I couldn’t buy a ticket. My roommates and I just saw a marching band. We noticed the UF band in front of the stadium. We saw some people who carried their instruments, so we waited for the band to start. When the band started to march, we were very excited. However, we noticed that the band was not the UF band. We wanted to see the UF band, but we had to go home because we had to take a bus before the last bus gone. We searched a bus stop where is the closest. We walked to the bus stop, but, because of school construction and football, that bus stop was gone. We looked for other bus stops to take the bus, and then we walked for 30 minutes. Before we arrived at the bus stop, we saw the bus on the road. Fortunately, a kind bus driver allowed us to take the bus. How kind he was! Finally, we got home safe.

Notes from the Office

UF ID Cards: If you want to use the UF libraries, Student Health Care Center, recreational facilities, etc., you need to show a student ID card.  You can also ride any RTS bus for free with this card.  Please contact the Student Life Coordinator, Victoria Dolce, at vcshelly@ufl.edu to get yours!

Classrooms: Keep your classrooms clean. Don’t leave papers, bottles, or other trash in the classrooms. All trash bins are in the hallway. Empty cans and bottles should go in the blue recycle bins. Paper also has a recycle bin in the hall with the slot for paper only. Throw all other trash in the brown trash can.

Additionally, all the classrooms have wipes for the desks and hand sanitizer for you to help keep your space clean.
